T.I Sentenced to Jail

As expected, on March 27th T.I. was sentenced to a year and a day in prison. Because of the experimental plea bargain that was put together by his legal team, he was able to have his term reduced from the minimum four years and nine months for his crime. The rapper paid a fine of $100,000, stayed under house arrest and completed 1,000 hours of community service, with another 500 hours due after his release. T.I. isn't expected to report to prison for another four to eight weeks because of prior commitments he has. Fortunately there is hope that his 366 day sentence can be reduced by 15% because of good behavior which would leave it at 298 days.
