Since I was in high school everyone has always said I act like a guy. I used to think it was a compliment, now I find it totally irritating! I admit I do try not to overreact about certain situations, I joke around a lot and use playful sarcasm to get along with people. And when it comes to relationships I usually get over things quickly, I've learned not to sit there and dwell over something that I really can't control anyway.
But why do all those characteristics mean I act like a guy? Normally I keep people at a distance, I figure if anyone wants to get to know me they will put themselves out there. So why is it that when men spend months and months of trying to get your attention, and when they finally do get your attention, all the sudden they are cool! Its crazy!! And leads me back to my original thought, I am not like a guy, when I like something and I finally get it, I am like a greedy 6 yr old with a brand new toy!!! NO TOUCHY!!!
